Precision Environmental, Inc. was founded at Stanford University in 1982, with the purpose of providing quality environmental contracting services to clients with asbestos contamination problems. As one of the first environmental companies in the State of California, Precision facilitated efforts with government agencies and media to educate the public regarding asbestos hazards.  Precision has been featured by National Geographic, Society, Good Morning America, The Today Show and many other television, radio, and print media documentaries on environmental issues.

After working on the Stanford University campus for several months, Precision Environmental opened its first office in Palo Alto, California and became incorporated in 1984. In 1986, Precision Environmental, Inc. was able to open a second office in Southern California.

Since it's inception, Precision Environmental, Inc. has broadened its base of environmental issues. In addition to asbestos removal services, Precision companies have expanded their environmental contracting services to include lead abatement, soils remediation (i.e., chlorinated hydrocarbons) and microbiological programs to clean up sites with virus contamination.  Now pioneering a new Thermal Process, Precision Environmental is providing a replacement for traditional fumigation as well as a new method for treating mold and bacteria in homes and businesses.

Precision Environmental, Inc. is state licensed and registered, and is bonded and insured to perform all environmental projects. Precision Environmental is a certified hazardous waste hauler and maintains a strict medical surveillance program for all of its environmental technicians. Precision is a member of many hazardous waste associations and in 1996 received the Environmental Excellence Award from the California Hazardous Waste Association.
