Heat Treatment Pest Control

We provide solutions that will minimize or eliminate the use of chemicals in your home or business. So, whether you’re chemically sensitive, immune-compromised, have asthma, or are just concerned about the use of chemicals.

Thermal HEAT Treatment

Safe, effective pest control with Thermal Heat Technology! When it comes to eliminating your home or business of destructive insect pests, tenting and chemicals are no longer your only option! The patented ThermaPureHeat process is a technological and ecological breakthrough in treating both partial and entire structures for wood-destroying insects, bed bugs, and their eggs.

Heat offers healthier air, healthier homes!

Considering we spend nearly 65% of our time indoors, the quality of the air we breathe is essential. The effectiveness and usefulness of the Heat process go well beyond pest eradication to improve the overall quality of your indoor air. In the same way heat works to eliminate pests; it reduces air pollutants such as asthma triggers, viruses, bacteria, dust mites, and reduces odors.

Heat Process

1. Heat-Sensitive items are protected or removed.
2. Thermal Tarps are hung from eaves to prevent roof damage for wood-destroying organism projects.
3. The Structure’s core is heated to a level that is lethal to the target pests.
4. The temperature is maintained for up to one hour.
5. Safely return to your home or business. No move-out required

Heat Treatment For Termites

Termite Heat Treatment

  • Absolutely no chemicals.
  • Faster treatment time – The heat process requires approx. Eight hours to complete, compared to three days for chemical fumigation.
  • It eliminates the cost and inconvenience of homeowners having to move out for three days. (Lodging, food, boarding of pets)
  • Our supervisors and technicians are on-site for the duration of the treatment, so there is no need to worry or hire security. At the same time, your home sits unoccupied for days during chemical fumigation.
  • No risk of roof, satellite, or antenna damage. We enclose the exterior from the eaves down. Chemical fumigation requires walking and dragging heavy tarps across the roof, which may damage the roofing material and other items on the roof. Fumigation requires you to sign a release of liability for the roof, satellite dish, antenna, and plant damage.
  • Heat kills insect eggs and wood-boring beetles. Chemical fumigation does not destroy the eggs or eradicate wood-boring beetle infestations.
  • Heat can also be used to kill mold, bacteria, viruses, dust mites, and other indoor allergens.
  • Heat treatment reduces or eliminates odors and leaves the building smelling fresh.
  • Heat dries out wet wood members, which helps to prevent mold, fungi/dry-rot, and termite re-infestation.

According to the California Department of Consumer Affairs, fumigation and heat are the only two effective methods for total (whole-house)eradication. The ability for heat to penetrate inside of wood to kill dry wood termites makes the Heat Treatment process an effective non-chemical tool for whole structure eradication of these pests.

  • Termites - 130F Thermal Kill Point
  • Cockroach - 130F Thermal Kill Point

How Heat Treatment Works

Fumigation Alternative
Are you ready for the swarm? Many chemicals used in fumigation are dangerous for both you and the environment. With Heat Treatment there are no chemicals and no move-out! In California and Arizona, the drywood termite swarms from July to November. Heat technicians introduce clean, dry heat into the structure, gradually increasing the temperature until the wood core reaches 130 degrees. Technicians then maintain the temperature at or above that level for 1.5 hours to ensure a complete kill. The entire procedure may be completed in as little as 8 hours.

1) Heat-Sensitive items are protected or removed.

2) Thermal Tarps are hung from eaves to prevent roof damage for wood-destroying organism projects.

3) The Structure’s core is heated to a level that is lethal to the target pests.

4) The thermal kill point temperature is maintained.

5) Safely return to your home or business. No move-out required

California Department of Consumer Affairs | STRUCTURAL PEST CONTROL FACT SHEET
This fact sheet from the State of California was a result of a multi-year study at UC Berkeley that determined heat treatment and fumigation are the only two full-structure treatments capable of achieving 100% termite mortality in all areas of a structure (including hidden/inaccessible areas)

Bed Bug Heat Treatment

Bed bugs are highly resistant to every pesticide that is currently available. A chemical treatment will leave behind these resistant bed bugs and eggs. There is no resistance to heat. Once the temperature is raised to the lethal level, all bed bugs and their eggs are destroyed. Heat will penetrate areas where chemicals, steam, and freezing cannot. The heat will penetrate wall voids, the center of mattresses, behind baseboards, in hollow bedposts, thick furniture, and under carpets. Other methods cannot penetrate these areas where bed bugs and their eggs are typically found.

  • 100% effective – Bed bugs are highly resistant to every pesticide that is currently available. A chemical treatment will leave behind these resistant bed bugs and eggs. There is absolutely no resistance to heat. Once the temperature is raised to the lethal level, all bed bugs and their eggs are destroyed.
  • You're back in your home within 8 hours.
  • Heat will penetrate into areas where chemicals, steam and freezing cannot. The heat will penetrate into wall voids, the center of mattresses, behind baseboards, in hollow bed posts, thick furniture and under carpets. Other methods simply cannot penetrate these areas where bed bugs and their eggs are typically found.
  • No need to discard your infested furniture. Other methods sometimes require that you discard your bed or couch. Heat kills mold, bacteria, viruses, dust mites, and other indoor allergens. It also reduces odors and leaves the treated areas smelling fresh. Eliminates you tenant’s exposure to toxic chemicals thus limiting your liability.
