Project Overview

Building 1572 is the historic Blakeslee Auditorium located in the western cantonment area of Camp San Luis Obispo (CSLO), California. Built in 1941 as a theater, it was used by Cuesta College from 1965 until 2006. Today, CSLO is a 4,100-acre California National Guard training facility.

Camp History: Camp San Luis Obispo was established in 1928. Significant expansion and construction occurred during World War II (primarily 1940–1941), when many of the camp’s buildings were erected to support large-scale training.

The scope includes comprehensive hazardous materials abatement followed by the complete demolition of Building 1572 at Camp San Luis Obispo. All work will be performed in strict accordance with the contract documents, applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and military installation requirements.

Project Scope and Commitment to Excellence
